The Somerville Office Directory is app in Teams which is a phone directory for all office based staff. Contacts are sorted by office location and you can call their teams number & mobile number if available.
The app can be found on the panel on the left side of Teams
If you cannot see the app please try restarting your teams app by right clicking the teams icon in the taskbar and selecting Quit, then open Teams again. If the app is still missing, please contact IT.
Upon opening the App for the first time you'll receive a pop up message, click allow to continue.
Contacts will be listed by office/location & alphabetical order
Click on the office/location buttons to switch between contacts from their respective locations. The address & phone number will change accordingly.
You can call a user in teams by clicking on the phone icons or numbers = Teams phone number
= Mobile number
When making a call for the first time you might be prompted to choose a default Call app, select Microsoft Teams from the list
After clicking on a number/icon to make a call you'll first get a prompt in teams asking if you would like to call that contact/number, click Call to start dialing
The Somerville Office Directory app can be access in the Teams mobile app & while some features may work, it's not optimized to be used with mobiles.
