If you've opened Outlook on a computer before August 2019, before the Office 365 roll out then accessing Outlook on that computer now will only show your old emails.
To fix this your old Outlook profile must be removed so that it connects to the Office 365 mailbox.
- Close Outlook
- Open the start menu
and search: ‘control panel’ then open it
- In Control Panel change the 'View by: Category' drop down to either 'Small icons' or 'Large icons'
- Open Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016)
- Select Show Profiles…
- Select Remove and then Yes on the pop up message and then Apply & Ok
- Open Outlook again, it will ask you to enter a profile name just enter ‘outlook’ and press Ok
- Log in to Outlook with your computer username and password
