Teams Changes: New Meeting Experience (Aug/Sep 2020 Update)

In the latest version of Teams: multi-window support has been added, this means that when you make/receive a call or join a meeting it will now open up in a separate window from your main Teams app.



For example when you answer a call it will open up in a new window and appear in front of the existing teams window. Then, when doing a transfer consult, the consult call will open up additional window on top the call window.



This feature currently can be disabled in Settings > 'Turn On New Meeting Experience' but it will become permanent in future version of Teams so we suggest leaving it enabled and getting used to using it.
