Mobile Scanning with OneDrive & Office Apps

In the OneDrive or Office mobile apps you can use your phone camera to scan documents and save them to your OneDrive as PDF documents.

In the OneDrive app tap on the ‘+’ button and select Scan




In the Office app tap on Actions and select Scan to PDF
 

Hold your phone above a document, your camera will automatically detect the document and put a border around it, take a photo to complete the scan.

Tap ‘done’ to preview the scan then tap on the ‘…’ icon > Save as… and select a location in your OneDrive to save the scan.

You can access the scanned documents in OneDrive on your phone or computer without transferring between devices.
